The County Burn Ban is effective July 1 through October 1 of each year, unless conditions warrant an earlier closure, or an extension. The Burn Ban generally applies to all outdoor burning except recreational cooking fires.

Mitigation is required for new water uses provided by wells within the Rule Area (including most Group B water systems). Mitigation is not required for projects that are served by Group A water systems.
