Prepare in a Year

Welcome to Clallam County's Prepare in a Year Project. This program was designed to help households become personally prepared. There are 12 projects to be completed. Each project was created to be easy to do, inexpensive and should only take about an hour to complete.

We will post a new topic every month for the next 12 months. Please register to receive notifications that a new project has been released. At the end of the year, the names of all those who registered and completed the 12 projects will be placed in a drawing for an assortment of prizes.

  1. Prepare in a Year - Registration

    Register for Emergency Management's Prepare in a Year program. Twelve easy projects, completed in about an hour. Do one a month and be prepared at the end of the year.

  2. February - Create an Action Plan

  3. January - Communications Plan

    This is the first project in the year long Prepare in a Year program. Every month we will present one project to do at home in about an hour to help you be fully prepared at the end of the year.
