Application Process

Read the following instructions carefully before completing the online application. All questions must be answered completely and accurately. A resume will not be accepted in lieu of completing the application. You may be disqualified for any false or misleading statements or for omitting information.

  • Education: You must include a complete record of your training and educational background. Please read the employment opportunity carefully for any special educational requirements. All employees at Clallam County are required to have at minimum a high-school diploma or general education degree (GED) – this information must be included in the educational section of the application. Include the following: 1. Name of School 2. Diploma or GED 3. Issued under what Last Name.
  • Licenses: If the position requires a specific license or certificate, list the full name of the license or certificate, and the official expiration date of the document. 
  • Employment History: You must include a complete list of all paid and/or volunteer work experience, as well as periods of unemployment, for at least the last 10 years. A resume may be included to supplement the application.

Those who are deaf, deaf-blind, hard of hearing or speech impaired may use the statewide relay system to reach Clallam County offices and departments to conduct their business telephonically. Relay users can simply dial 7-1-1 or (1-800-833-6388) to connect with Washington Relay.
