Protection Orders

Individuals seeking a protection order can complete the appropriate paperwork and file it with the Clerk's Office. Civil protection petitions are heard each day on the court's civil ex-parte docket at 1:00 pm. Please contact the Clerk's office to find out what courtroom your matter will be heard in.

If you are submitting your protection order electronically you will need to be in contact with the Clerk's office after your hearing to receive a copy of your order, if granted by the court. You must complete all forms in the Protection Order packet including the Confidential Information form so that our office and Law Enforcement can enter the order into our system and will allow for service to the Respondent (restrained person).

On Anti-Harassment petitions, contact the Clerk's Office after your court hearing. A $53 filing fee will be charged unless the court has waived the filing fee. Our office will accept a cash or money order payment at our office or a credit card payment over the phone. For service of your Anti-Harassment Order contact the Clallam County Sheriff's Office, they charge a fee for service, or you may have another person who is not a part of your case and who is over the age of 18, serve the order for you. Proof of service must be filed with the court.
